2017 HRB Pinot Noir
The 4th release of this wine crosses the boundaries for Pinot Noir, continuing the long history of inter-regional blending for Hardys, where no single vineyard designates its origin. A blend of Yarra Valley and Tamar Valley fruit has combined to provide a wine of finesse, texture and complexity.
Brilliant cherry red colour, aromas of strawberries, mulberry and cherry with flashes of cardamom and anise. Further complexed by subtle influence of French oak spice. Juicy and sweet fruited with a palate full of ripe berry fruits, fine tannins, and subtle oak all combine to provide a palate of balance, texture and mineral acid drive.
The 2017 HRB Pinot Noir won 3 Trophies ('Best Wine in Show', 'Best Red Wine in Show' and 'Best Pinot Noir') at the 2018 Royal Hobart Wine Show.
