VINTAGE: A traditional dry and hot South Australia vintage with small but substantial rain events revitalising vines at critical points. Managing health in the vine canopy was the key to getting grapes to maturity without sunburn. A mild finish to the growing season provided an extended period ideal for flavour development and has resulted in outstanding McLaren Vale Sangiovese.

COLOUR: Deep garnet with crimson hues

BOUQUET: Dark plum, raspberry and black cherry with red liquorice, rhubarb and subtle gamey tones

PALATE: Vibrant dark cherry, boysenberry and plum with aniseed and Turkish delight. Bright fruit flavour is complimented by a softly textured mid palate and a savoury tannin structure.
