Brilliant deep brick red with a complex nose of dark cherry, chocolate, dried herbs, earth, spice and a hint of tar. The palate is balanced and harmonious with initial primary fruit flavours of raspberry, sour cherry and plum followed by more savoury and spice flavours of cinnamon, bay leaf and tar. This wine has fine tannins with a subtle complexity giving a lovely structure and length.
